One Click Selects All

When I click on a "single" file or folder, all of the other files and/or
folder get selected and highlited. Is there a setting that I can change to
undo this?

Your shift key is bad. To check that, just turn off pc > unplug your keyboard > Start
your Pc and see if the problem is there.

If yes, then this is possibly a Malware, spyware or something. Scan your PC

Try this--don't click on it, just move the mouse over it to highlight. You
can change the behavior of the mouse in Folder Options (Tools, folder options
in Windows Explorer) as well as Mouse properties in Cntl Panel.
