Is there a step-by-step guide available anywhere?
I have two desktops(ethernet) and two laptops(one has both ethernet and
wireless, one is wireless) that I am networking (trying). Cable
connection through a Linksys router. The two desktops see each other
fine. I have followed the setup wizard steps on each computer. Some
connections between the laptops and the desktops show up some don't.
When I click on the network name under MSWindows Networks it tells me
it isn't accessible , etc., etc. Some of the shared folders show up
despite this msg. Very frustrating process.
Does what you name the network matter? Am using the same name
throughout. Have been able to share some printers on some of the
connections but not all.
Any help greatly appreciated!
