"On Got Focus error" in Simple Query Wizard

In Access 2003, It seems if you happen to have left the cursor on a Make
Table Query when you open the Simple Query Wizard, you get the error as soon
as you try to scroll through the queries/databases. You also get an
hourglass. (It apparently doesn't omit the make table query, as it usually
does, if your cursor is on it when you open the simple query wizard). The
error is "The expression On Got Focus you entered as the event property
setting produced the following error: The text you entered isn't an item in
the list." Was this fixed in some update?

I put this question in the Access Database General Questions as a request as
"How do I report what I believe is a bug?". The reply I received indicates
it is probably a bug.

Apparently no, it has not been fixed. I can reproduce the error here, and
this system is fully up to date with all patches and service releases.

Thank you. The person answering my request on "how to report a bug" (Joan
Wild), is reporting it for me. She was also able to duplicate it. I just
wanted to tag it here, in case someone else comes across the problem and
searches here.

I am still getting this same error. Is there an update that i need to
download or is there a proceedure that i can follow to fix this problem?

Thanks,

Hello "JPlat",

I am not aware of an update for this problem, though perhaps there is one,
but if you search for "How do I report what I believe is a bug?" in "Access
database", you can read how Joan Wild at Microsoft directed me to get around
the problem.
