Hi
I installed a few Outlook synchronization utilities that would
synchronize between my desktop & laptop.

I then unstalled these utilities and now get this message
'The Add-in OLWatchextension OLWatchECE.dll cannot be loaded and has
been disabled by outlook, please uninstall the add-in'

Anyone know how to fix this please?
Or
Is it possibe to repair outlook from the office 2007 cd

WIth Outlook closed, try deleting the (usually hidden) file
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\extend.dat (on
XP) or %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\extend.dat (Vista or 7)

Brian, that was a disaster
I found %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Outlook and deleted extend.dat
Then outlook couldn't find the .pst file & wouldn't load
I had to load a 7 day old backup to get outlook to work again &
OLWatch is still there

Not possible. Just opening a folder cannot delete files.

You deleted more than just the extend.dat file, then.
