OLE Object is Empty error

Hello fellow Access users,
I have a subform with a bound frame that allows me to add OLE objects
to a shared table. When I am in form view and click away from the
subform to the main form I get the following error when I do not attach
anything to the bound frames.

"The OLE object is empty."
You can't edit a bound frame in the field in the underlying
table.....etc...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
