old user profile

I hope i have posed this in the right area. I have had to
re install my XP pro onto a new hard drive. but now when
i try and access my old profile on my old hard drive it
says access denied and i cannot get into my old profile
folder? I am logged in as admin ut still no joy :-(

any ideas guys.

You need to take ownership of the old profiles folder.

Then you can copy/move out the items you wish to use under your new profile.
