Microsoft Outlook - 2002

my internet provider changed from Insight to Comcast. When someone trys to
send me an email they get a message that it was undeliverable due to a
permanent failure with my old insight email address. Comcast has canceled the
insight email and I have canceled Insight email address by going under
Tools/Email Accounts / and removing the old address. Why does Microsoft still
think that the old email is have a failure when the email is being sent to my
new address?? Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Cheryl

What address are they sending to, your old Insight address or your new
Comcast address?

Did Comcast set up some kind of autoforward to your old address?
I think you should show that message below to Comcast support.

Hi Pat,

Thanks for the email. Now that I think about I do believe that Comcast did
set up an auto forward with the old email. I have called them five times and
they always tell me contact Microsoft. I will call them again. Hopefully they
can help me.

Thanks,

Cheryl
