Old Compressed Files

How can I remove old compressed files. Tried Disc Clean
without success. Thank you...Alf.

The Disk Cleanup utility, as documented when you read the Help, will not
delete these files. Use Explorer to delete them manually.
 
If you mean old .zip files, then do Start > Search, and tyupe *.zip,
perhaps giving a date range if you want to address only those files between
a pair of dates. You'll get an Explorer window listing the files found by
Windows, and you can then selectively delete them.
