OLD AND NEW DVD PLAYERS

When I burn copys in dvd-r it plays on my older machine only, when I use
dvd+r's they will play only on my newer dvd player. Nether will play on both
machines.
How do I burn dvd's that will play on any machine? Have nero sftware and
liteon dvd
player in pc.

If you are talking about a tabletop DVD player(like the type you hook up to
TV) you need to read the manual that came with both machines.In there it
will list the types of DVD it will play....find a common one.
The type of DVD player/recorder you have for you computer works the same
way.
