OL98 2 profiles setup on one PC-one profile freezes when closing

I have a user with 2k OS and OL98. OL98 is set to prompt formailbox at start
of application. User has access to personal mailbox and a general mailbox on
an Exchange server. When using the general mailbox, Outlook freezes when
closing application. Staying on "please wait while Outlook closes". This
does not happen with the personal mailbox, the application closes as it
should.
