OL2K3: Envelope in system tray doesn't get displayed for all new messages

Hi there,

In my Inbox, I have about 10 folders I use to sort incoming mail
automatically (with rules). Since I've upgraded to Outlook 2003, the
envelope only displays for mail that doesn't get sorted into a folder,
i.e remains in the top Inbox folder. I turned Deskop Alerts off; that
didn't help. I tried turning Desktop Alerts on for each rule, but I
ran out of space. Plus, that is really overkill for me. Just the
little envelope is fine!

Any thoughts?

That's the way Outlook is designed to work.
