running trial version of Office 2007 and it has expired

how can I export my Contacts?

Was running OL XP and then OL2003 and made a mistake of using the same pst
file without any backups

Your Outlook data file is still intact. Just copy it.
You never save Outlook data by exporting.

but guess I can't

guess I got to find someome running OL2007 in order to use the pst

No. Outlook 2003 can open that file too.
