OL2007 - rules behaving badly... need help...

Greetings,

I just installed OL2007 (along with office enterprise 2007) and I'm having
some problems setting up the rules. I have a lot of experience with outlook
so I'm reasonably sure that I haven't missed anything. Here are the
particulars -

Visat Home Premium 64bit
Outlook 2007 (installed with Office Enterprise 2007)
All current updates have been applied.
Windows Mail had been used previous to installing OL2007.

The problem is occuring within the rules. There are 3 of them (one for each
account and associated folder) and they check the email after it arrives and
looks at rgw account and is supposed to move the message to the appropriate
folder. However if I go back and change the "specifiied account" manually
for any of the rules OL2007 will automatically change it to the "default"
mail account. Then if I change the "default" account the rules are changed
automatically. help!

Is there a way to fix that? I certainly hope it's not the way OL works now.
Previous versions did not.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for replying.

Each account is POP3/SMTP. I've looked at Tools->Accounts and see what's
wrong now. Instead of using rules to move incoming email to it's associated
folder now there's a setting for each account. I prefer the "old way", oh
well.

Thanks for your help!

If you prefer the old way, it should still work because it's the default
configuration.
