OL2007 with EX2007, you can right click an email in OL and select Follow Up
and then choose when to follow up. This then places an item in the To-Do Bar
under Task List for the message you want to follow up on. This only seems to
work if the original message stays in the users Inbox on the EX server. If
the message is moved to a local PST, the Task List item is not created or, if
there already was an item, it disappears when the message is moved.

Is there a way to get this to work with the message not being in the EX
Inbox?

Hi,

Please understand that the items shown in the To-Do Bar, To-Do List, and
Daily Task List are actually items emanating from a search folder that is
created by default for you in Outlook 2007. If you want to also include
tasks and flagged items from non-default stores (for example, .pst files
added to your profile), please do following steps:

1. Right click the top-level object for the store. For example, if this is
a .pst file right click Personal Folders
2. Click Properties for <store name>
3. On the General tab, please enable the "Display reminders and tasks from
this folder in the To-Do Bar" checkbox
4. Click OK and restart Outlook

Are the search criteria for that folder accessible and modifiable?
