OL2003 Phone number format

B

Bob Roosth

I recently moved from OL2000 to 2003. One difference I see
is that when I enter a phone number as 8885551212 it does
not get reformatted to (888) 555-1212 as it did in OL2000.
I spoke with a friend who is also using 2003 and it works
correctly for her. So I am looking for possible fixes.

If it matters, my default Contact form is one that I
customized in OL2000. Even if I change to the Outlook
default form, the problem remains.

Bingo! No dialup connection so I had not even visited that
page.... Thanks. No I just have to find all the ones I
have added in the past week and get them fixed.
