OL2003: Can't see others' meeting schedules...

I am using OL2003 with XP Pro and Exchange 2003. When I open a meeting in my
Calendar, if I click on the Schedules tab - I can see MY time blocked out,
but that of my colleages is b/w cross-hatched. I could understand this if
colleagues were not logging into the same server (as is the case
occasionally) but these colleagues are local to me. Any suggestions or
resolutions?
