OL2003 and autoarchive

Hi U all!

My OL2003 Norwegian edition won't auto archive my folders.
I have set the term for each e-mail folder, and in Options set the mark on
run auto archive every day.

Still no auto archiving.
I have set the ask before auto archiving option to "on" and it sure asks,
but after auto archiving nothing has changed.

I have a lot of e-mail folders in which I want to delete yesterdays mail
every day, but I can't get it to work.

What am I doing wrong?

Running Office 2003 on a modern 2.8GHz laptop fitted with WinXP!

I have the US English version and am having the same problem. Even when I
manually archive a folder and set a specific date it doesn't work. I
forced an AutoArchive and it got rid of some of the messages in the
folder but not the oldest ones. Then, when I manually archived the folder
it didn't do anything. I set the date to a week ago and there are still
messages over 2 months old in there.

I have found the solution to my own problem. The really old files that
weren't archiving had a Modification Date of 'None'. I tried modifying
them to get the date to set but it wouldn't. I'm assuming the field was
corrupted in some way when I moved things around between .PST files to
import them from my old Outlook 2000 format .PST file to my new UniCode
Outlook 2003 format .PST file. Anyway, I just resorted to manually moving
them to the archive file where I wanted them to be. Interestingly, that
did change the modification date but I didn't care by then.
