OL2002 - Preview pane moveable?

Using Outlook 2002. Can the preview pane be moved to the top of the Outlook
window? In other words, can the inbox list and the preview pane be switched?

Outlook 2002's preview pane was not movable, it is strictly on or off.
Outlook 2003/7's preview pane, renamed reading pane, adds a right hand
location, but no top location.

What you describe is not possible.
