OL2002 inbox question

Hi All,

I've got a client who's using Outlook 2002 and they've got a question
regarding the way that incoming messages appear in their inbox.

It seems that in the From: field, the only information is the "real" name as
listed by the message headers. For example, in their inbox, all they would
see from me would be "Mark Levy," but not (e-mail address removed)

Consequently, they miss a lot of SPAM messages that they'd rather not open,
if they could only see the email address of the sender.

Is there a way to add the actual email address of the sender as one of the
colums displayed in Outlook2002 (using an Exchange2000 server)? I've tried
adding the "email account" column, but that wasn't it...

Thanks in advance,

Mark

What is displayed in the From field is controlled by the sender in Outlook.
There are no recipient-controlled settings.

OK, thank you.

One other question then...

In Outlook Express, you can get that information through right-clicking on
the message and going to "Properties." However, there doesn't seem to be
that sort of option in Outlook when you're using an Exchange server.

Is there anything that can be done in the Outlook client that would be
similar to what you get in OE messages when you choose the properties on a
message?

Thanks again for your help!

Right-click the message line in the Inbox and choose Options (or open the
message and click View>Options) to see any Internet headers.
