OL2000: Contacts View List Truncated

J

Jim Speiser

I am having a problem with Outlook 2000. It seems the list of views available in my Contacts folder is truncated; I am only able to see about 7, and there are about twice that many. In fact, I am only able to see custom-designed views that I have created, the standard ones that come with the program are not in either the menu or the drop-down list. The only way I can implement them is from the VIEWS | CURRENT VIEW | DEFINE VIEWS... list. They are defined as being available in all Contact folders. What can I do to correct this?

Thanks,
Jim Speiser

In the Custom View Organizer dialog box (the one that appears when you click
Define Views), do you have the "Only show views created for this folder" box
checked?

I beg your pardon, I was looking in the wrong folder. I -did- have it
checked in the CONTACTS folder. Thank you, I think that solves it.
