OL XP Underline Problem

I Use Word as the email editor, set with HTML.
For some weird reason when I send the email, all my text is underlined. It
is not hyperlink underline, it's just plain underlined. How do I get rid of
that? Or what is causing my text to be underlined? Not sure if the culprit
is in OL or in a Word Setting.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
