OL 2007 sending more mesages than me!

just upgraded from 2003 and notice when I send a message the status bar
reports sending message 3 of 3 or sometimes 4 of 4. I am only sending one!
what is going on?

The sending message count is a bit messed up in Outlook 2007. Still, it
might be worth to check if there isn't a hidden message stuck in your
Outbox.

Did you recreate your mail profile after the upgrade? If there is nothing
stuck in the Outbox, recreating your mail profile could solve the issue;

It's not a guarantee that the issue won't come back. Microsoft is aware of
the issue.

Do you have more than one email account defined in this profile? If so,
this is a bug in Outlook 2007 which adds one to the number of messages for
each account - 1 message sent with three accounts = 3 messages to send.

I have the same problem and also have three email accounts.
Thanks to Hal - this one was bugging me too.
I doubt Microsoft will ever fix it - maybe in a newer version.
