OL-2000 : Default View Columns

Is there a way to alter the default view columns?

When I create a new folder, I automatically get:
=3F Importance
=3F Flag Status
=3F Attachment
=3F From
=3F Subject
=3F Received

I'd like to add "To" between "From" and "Subject."

I've had to do this manually every time I create a folder. This
wouldn't be so bad, I guess, except that having just finished messing
around with my .PST file (archiving, exporting, etc.) I'm now in a
situation where all my folders got reset to the aforementioned columns,
*without* the "To" column. I can't see myself going through every
folder and reinserting this column.

Can anybody suggest something that'll be more automatic?

Right-click the header line, select Field Chooser, and add the fields you
like.

Reset all views and then modify the default Messages view to include the
fields you want. All folders using that view will use your modifications.

2003, and while the menus that allow you to find the views may be different,
the methods should still apply.
