OL 2000 Appointment Reminders and SP3 install

Since installing SR1 & SP3, my appointment reminders are not working correctly, the first prob is that when i choose to dismiss a reminder for appointment "A", it is dismissed, until I close OL and go back into it, whether the appointment exists or not, I am reminded. The second prob is when I move an appointment a new time or day, and have dismissed it for the original time, I go into the appointment, check remind again for the new time, it doesn't remind me. If I close OL and go back in, it does remind me, however, it is for the original appointment, which doesn't exist anymore

Is there a fix in M$ KB for this? Or, am I the only person with this prob

Thanks

I answered my own question. after several searches of M$ KB, I found KB doc: 197180 - OL2000: Additional Command-Line Switches. I used the /CleanReminders switch for outlook.exe. This fixed my prob. Hopefully this post will help someone else, also.
