OK to Delete Contents of These?

Under Documents and Settings ==> my username ==> local
settings there are the following two directories:

Temp
Temporary Internet Files

Is there any problem with deleting the contents of these two
directories when I have finished my current tasks, and have
closed all my applications?

You can safely delete the contents of the temp folder although you may find
that some files are locked.

The same applies to the Temporary Internet Files. A better way to manage
this folder would be to adjust the amount of disk space set aside for
temporary files. Under IE7 you will find it under Tools / Internet Options /
Browsing History / Settings.
