Ok. I've tried a few times to get answers and so far havent really gotten and
responses saying how to solve my issue. My issue is with my monitor. I was
able to finally get windows to stop saying my monitor is a plug n play
monitor. Because i finally installed my monitor driver correctly. However I
still have the issue on my vid card with my monitor, That I can't go any
higher than 1360x1024. When I do try to go higher it litterally blows up the
image and makes windows almost unusable. How do I fix this?, My vid card is a
radeon 9800 xt pro 256 MB. I'd like to use the default mnitor so i can go
into 1600x1200 or greater resolution. Which I know my monitor can do because
I got it to do it once. (Dont know how). And the issue was easily solved by
checkmarking a box in monitor properties to not detect plug n play monitors
in win98se. Sadly that option is gone in Windows XP. I have tried using the
extend desktop to this display since windows thinks i have two monitors. And
also making it the primarry, and un attaching the first one. But it will
immediately revert back to what it previously was. I'd really like some help.
Thanks in advance.

Display Properties> Advanced> Settings> Adapter: mark box to List All
Modes. After making this change, display resolutions and refresh rates that
were not listed will become available. Be careful. Using settings not
suitable for *both* the display adapter and monitor can end up with no
display being produced and there is a possibility of damage to the monitor.
