offline files

hi, i am running vista business on a laptop joined to a domain logged in as
domain admin.

the my docs folders is pointing to a network share which is unique for me &
setup to sync for offline access...

When online all is well, but when offline I can delete some files within my
docs ok but when deleting some of the folders, they come up with the
following error "this operation can only be performed when you are connected
to the network" and it basically wont allow me to do it.

Has anyone seen this before?
