Hi,
I'm running Server 2003 on a domain with XP and a couple of W2K clients. I
get access denied errors when trying to sync a network folder. This has
happened on both a XP client and a W2K client. I have checked and rechecked
permissions and owner of files. Everything seems fine. This has happened
on the initial sync, so there is no offline files cache to clear.
The only way I have got this to work is by making the user a member of the
Domain Admins group. It works fine when I do that, but obviously, I don't
want to do that. It seems to me that it is a permission issue somewhere
since it works with admin rights. I just can't find the problem.
I have read a lot of posts with similar problems, but have not found a
solution.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Dan
