Last year there was a question regarding Offline File synchronization failing
on many types of database files. Someone responded that this is by design,
which I understand, and you had three choices:
a) live with it
b) supress the error
c) change the configuration so the sync will occur
I'm interested in "b". In the rest of the post there was no information on
how to suppress these messages. I haven't found any way to suppress these
messages. I would like to do this for two reasons. First, users tend to get
a bit distressed when they see error messages. Explaining that these are
normal and expected will help for a day or two, but users are users. Second,
if someone issues a shutdown command and walks away from their laptop, the
shutdown process hangs on this error, waiting for the user to click "Okay" to
acknowledge the error. If the user doesn't come back for a while, the
battery may die leading to other problems.
So, how do I suppress these expected error messages?
