Offline Address Book Not Synching

S

Scott

Ok,
We are running Exchange 2003 and we are all using Outlook
2003. My address book is not syncing to save its life.
When new users are added ot active directory, they don't
show up in my global address list. The only way I can
see them is to turn off the "used cached exchange" mode.

I have manually tried to make this work and that is not
happening either. Any ideas?

What errors do you get when you sync? I don't have OL2003, but in prior
versions you have to choose the option to download the offline address
book....maybe not relevant in your version.

This appears to be a major problem with ex2000. I have the same issue and
have spoken to quite a few exchange gurus who are friends and they all said
the same thing. It's an issue with ex2k. There is an article about this
(275171) but what worries me is that if I do this everything will be lost.
One thing I have noticed as an exadmin I see my OFA fine...it's the users
who have the synch error.
