I have a customer who's laptop and PC came pre-installed with Office XP.
I've recently added a SBS 2003 server, and I've installed Outlook 2003 onto
his laptop so he can connect via RCP over HTTPS. (This works fantastically
well BTW)

However, the option to "Use Word 2003 to edit e-mail" is greyed out,
presumably since he's only got Office XP installed.

Is there any way (other than purchasing new copies of Office 2003) that
Outlook can use an older version of Word to edit e-mails?

thanks,
Box

No, they must be the same version.

Thanks for the reply. I guess he'll just have to wait untill he gets a new
PC.
