Office XP vs 97

So folks what do you think the advantages are of office XP over office 97?
Particularly in Word, Excel and Outlook?

Hi,

I find a lot of the features such as mail merge, more
user friendly in Office XP. However, the seller for me
was in Outlook. I use hotmail as my email account. I was
never able to use Outlook to view my email until Office
XP.

Hmm interesting. What else in Word do you think has changed? So often the
differences between versions seem to be minor.

I don't use Outlook, in fact I go to some lengths to avoid using M$
programs. But as far as Word goes I went back to 97. All the new
"features" are just froth as far as I'm concerned. In short it's
Bloated with a capital B
