everytime i go to start word or excel or any other program inside office, an
error saying "norton anti virus does not support the repair feature please
uninstall and reinstall" sometimes the error only comes up once and i click
OK sometimes i have to click OK 3 or 4 times, my computer had norton anti
virus when i bought it but i immediately uninstalled it cuz i use a different
anti virus program, any suggestions on how i stop this error???

My first inclination would be to contact Symantic. It sounds like Norton
failed to completely uninstall, rather than a problem with your Office
install.

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the
database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not
be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that
clear and may have misdirected you here.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to address
your problem there.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.

yes im sure the microsoft help system is what misdirected me, i have
redirected the question to the right place (hopefully) and just wanted to
thank you for your reply
