Office Service Pack 3

Has anyone succeeded in installing Office (XP) Service Pack
3? I spent over 6 hours downloading it, then when I start
the install phase, I get the message:
"The expected version of this product was not found on your
system."
Migawd, I'm using a new Dell computer that has Office 2003
installed at the factory. What version could it be talking
about?? (Groan)

Office XP is excel 2002 not 2003..
So the message makes sense

I don't think there has been a service pack for 2003 yet..

Hi Sid!

Just to confirm Peo's thought.

There is no SP 3 for Office 2003. You only install the Service Packs
for the version that you have. (You possibly confused the XP of your
operating system).

You should however, visit the download site and check for updates and
hotfixes for Office 2003.
