Office Outlook Connector and Outlook 2007

Having received an email from Microsoft telling me that in order to use
Outlook and Hotmail together I would have to download and use Office Outlook
Connector, I did so but since then I can't see either old messages in my
inbox or see sent messages at all. Can anyone please help?

When you switch to the mailbox, does the Outlook Connector Toolbar indicate
that it is still downloading messages or a connection error?

Sorry for delay. I spent quite some time when I first received MS's email
forcing me to download this software trying to make it work but eventually
uninstalled it. Today another 'threatening' message and I've spent an hour
so far trying to find ways around installing it. Why can't MS keep it
simple? Can I change my hotmail to POP3?

Sorry again, in answer to your question, I can't remember. I did what MS
asked and installed their 'fix' and then I did everything that I normally
do... Previously I had no problems with my Hotmail or Office.
