office installs every time word starts

i just upgraded from office 2000 to office 2003. i installed it on the
administrator account, and i have a limited account that acts funny when you
open word. it says 'please wait while microsoft office configures...' and
goes through about 10 windows like that before the program opens. it opens
fine under the administrator account. i recently demoted this limited
account from an administrator (i don't know if that is relevant). Also, i
created a new limited account and it does the same thing. any ideas?

mmm, i've seen this question posted a number of times. There is a "search
for" box up here. Enter office install or some deriative to bring up the
other postings and resolutions that you can use......
