office 97 and windows xp professional

Hi,

Is Office 97 compatible with Windows XP professional?
Does anyone know a microsoft URL that I can officially see
what they have to say on this subject?
 
I don't know about an official word on a site, but from experience, office
97 runs just fine on xp.
