In my previous officeI could save a document and the office remained open -
here once I save the document it also closes the office so I have to reclick
it every time. How do I get another X on the office to just close the
document and not the program itself

Presumably you are closing your Word document with the X in the top right of
the window. That closes the application. Instead press CTRL+F4 or add Close
to the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar)

My web site www.gmayor.com

Or, go to Office Button>Word options>Advance tab at the left>In Advance
tab... scroll down to Display section and uncheck "Show all windows in the
taskbar"

This will give you two seperate X buttons in word ***BUT*** if there are
more than one documents are opened at the same time, you will be able to view
only one in the taskbar. You will have to minimize first DOCUMENT(NOT WORD),
and get the second one

please reply..!
