Office 2007 Trial, MS Word - editor

I am trialling Office 2007, but Outlook 2003 no longer detects MS Word as
editor. Is the cost of upgrade to 2007 warranted???

If you don't upgrade to a suite with Outlook 2007, you won't have Word as
the editor. (Outlook has always required the same version of Word as the
editor.)

Why are you keeping Outlook 2003 but upgrading the rest of the suite?

As stated, I downloaded Office TRIAL and it did not install Outlook 2007,
only the other normal applications. With the current financial CRUSH that the
bloated USA & other economies have recently inflicted on the world it no
longer appears viable to purchase and upgrade by the end of this month when
the trial period ends.

you need to uninstall outlook 2003 before installing office 2007 or the
installation thinks you want to keep 2003 as you can't have more than one
version installed at a time.

Thanks, I had not uninstalled any of the office suite 2003, during this
trial. Will do so if I decide to proceed with the upgrade, and will remember
this in the future.
