Office 2003 - Word

I transfered Document files from a CD into a new computer with VISTA and the
Word pages (.doc) open as blank pages even though the properties of that page
show that there is data in the file.
What's the cure?

Check if the text has been formatted the same color as the page background,
or as hidden.

If the above doesn't help, have you tried repairing the document?
