I have a Win. NT 4.0 computer with office 2000 installed. I need to use
Powerpoint libraries ( the ability to save presentations and have them
update) Office 2000 Powerpoint doesn't have this feature. I purchased Office
2003 and would like to install it only because of Powerpoint libraries.

1. Is there an addin or patch for Powerpoint 2000 that allows me to use this
feature (not sure but, if i update windows installer in NT 4.0 will it allow
me to install office 2003?)

2. Will i have to install OS Win 2000 pro. or Win XP pro. (as a last resort)

All comments welcome...

I'm not sure what feature this is. Can you describe it more? Or is it a
third-party add-in that only works with PPT 2003?

The box should list the required operating system in more detail, but I'm
willing to bet that NT4 isn't on the list. As I recall, you need Windows 2000
SP3 or 4 at least.

Yes. Or XP home if you prefer.

But before going to all that trouble, I'd make very certain that you know more
about this mysterious libraries feature.

Thanks Steve for your response. I decided to get another machine that has
Win2000 on it. I appreciate your feed back.
