Office 2003 EULA academic (student/teacher) and small business edition

Does anyone have a link for the Office 2003 EULA (end user license
agreement) yet?

Would you think the "spirit" if not the "letter" of the agreement
would allow a retired kindergarten teacher of many years to purchase
the academic edition? I think the honest person in question (my
mother) is still certified to teach, if it affects the "letter"
portion.

Do you know if the SB or other editions will allow use on multiple
computers in the same home?

Thanks!

I purchased the Academic Edition of Office 2000, and I have not been
arrested yet. I bought it primarily to train myself to use the apps for
employment purposes, but also use if for personal projects, as do many
ex-students, I'm sure. I went to my local community college's bookstore.
They just took my Social Security # and let me buy it...
Don't worry, she will not be arrested, nor will she go to the devil. At
least, not for buying the Academic edition. And if she feels guilty, have
her donate the difference in price to a worthwhile charity.

Greetings --

Can't speak about the Office 2003 Academic license, but the
information should be here:

Microsoft Education - How to Buy

The Office 2003 Small Business Edition question is, however, easy
to answer. Because Office SBE is available _only_ as an OEM license,
it cannot be used on any other computer than the one with which it
was purchased. This is the case for all Microsoft OEM licenses: An
OEM license, once installed, is not legally transferable to another
computer under any circumstances.

Re: your last question. I was under the impression that Office may installed
on 2 computers, your desktop and your laptop.

This is the case only with the retail licenses. Office SBE is
available only as an OEM (factory-installed) license.
