Office 2003 and Vista home premium

I recently purchased a new computer with Vista Home Premium. When I loaded
Office 2003 and opened Outlook there is no "Forward" or "Send/Recieve"
buttons and I do not seem to be receiving my email, even though I have the
account setup properly. Is there a fix available?

No send buttons mean your account is not set up properly. You cannot open
Outlook and expect it to work without setting up the accounts in Outlook,
Tools, Accounts. Then you must select Outlook as your default email program
in Default Programs. Vista sets up the account in Windows Mail, not Outlook.
Open that to see if your mail is there. More info would help, such as type of
email, your ISP etc. Outlook cannot handle all web based mail and some mail
requires special settings.

I did go through the Outlook, Tools, Accounts and do the setup as per the
instructions from Earthlink.net (my email provider). When I go to Default
Programs Outlook is not listed to set as a default. I have Outlook 2003
working properly on my old machine running XP and have checked the account
setting and everything matches.

More suggestions would be appreciated.
