Office 2000/Vista

Are Office 200 and Vista compatible?

I've gotten tired of all the "Microsoft EXCEL has stopped messages. Want to
go back to something that has some stability.

Yes, Office 2000 is compatible with Vista. I have Office 2000 installed on
one of my Vista machines and I haven't run into any problems.
