Why don't you link us to the Microsoft site that is soliciting these
comments?

I haven't researched this further, but I believe that the surveymonkey link
is legitimate. Microsoft does use third--parties to do survey work like
this and they aren't real careful to ensure that it all looks legitimate.

If I can find a direct link from a Microsoft.com page later, I'll post that.
One question is from whom are they really soliciting feedback, and I haven't
read Bink's write-up yet.

Well, it was marked offtopic and I also trust Binks page.

And these questions are hot about how to handle p2p apps
within corporate networks.

Don't mind off topic occasionally. What bothers me is a blurb on the page
that states you can get $300.00 in 15 minutes by taking another Microsoft
survey.

Yeah! Right. Can you say phishing!

Nope, I cant after reading Binks page.

I'll look for that. However, this third party is used for several Microsoft
surveys--there's a networking/security survey which is linked from
petri.co.il, which is a more reputable site than Binks.

Do a google surveymonkey microsoft. I'm not sure why these surveys are so
"informal"--but I don't think there's any phishing going on.

I don't have a strong opinion about Bink, but he has published stuff which
was supposed to be NDA in the past--links to private beta's, for example.
So not everything published there is intended to be public. I don't know
anything more in relation to this specific survey, though--I'd recommend
filling it out if you are interested--I believe it is legit.

Bill,
The survey is legit. There is a link to it, but with a slightly different
trailer for MVP's in CH.
