Is there a way to disable off-line web pages altogether? All I can find in
the help files is how to make them available for off-line viewing. None of
"My Favorites" are checked for off-line viewing. I don't know where these
files come from. Each time I run disk cleanup there are a number of files in
the window. I don't elect to view anything offline, I'm on cable and I
always have access to the pages anyway.

It's really no big deal but, just another little thing that annoys me. Any
help will be appreciated.

TIA JAX

Hi Jax,

I don't have a answer to your question but here's a workaround.
Considering you have a fast connection in IE go to Tools -
internet options - setting and set "Amount of disk space used"
to a very low size. This will keep on line and off line pages to a
minimum.

Thank you Bert,

It's just a matter of a few KB's most of the time, only enough to irritate
me. Main thing is, I don't understand why there is anything at all!

Cheers, JAX
