Off-line file problem.

I have a desktop and laptop on a LAN - both with XP SP2 installed.
The "My Documents" icon on the laptop points to the "My Documents" folder on
the desktop, and that folder is enabled for Off-line File use on the laptop.
I can view and open any file in My Documents but I can't add a file or
create a new folder while on-line or off. I get "Access Denied". I can't see
how to correct this, or why (the My Documents folder on the desktop is
enabled for sharing as well) I can't save a new file or create a new folder
in My Documents.

Thanks

Very strange - I seem to have solved it, but I don't know why. I re-directed
the "My Documents" target on the laptop to the "Documents" in My Network
Places, re-enabled Off-line Files, re-synchronised, and the problem seems to
have gone away.

Odd.
