It has "come to that", but not (as far as I know) for any individuals,
rather, for businesses. The EULA and the license agreement are legally
binding, but no one is likely to go to court over one copy.

So then why don't they do something about it?!? M$ has no balls to back
up their eula when it comes to private non-commercial use as they have
proven thus far by not doing anything about it.

I don't believe that Microsoft gives a hoot as long as it is installed
on one PC. There are a few fundamentalist MVP's that are spouting
this crap. Fundamentalist are causing trouble all over the world no
matter what their dogma.

When I legally buy legal merchandise, it is mine to do with what
I please. I can store, use, sell or throw it out. EULA is a vague
agreement not a legal contract. Also it is illegal to practice
contract law without a license. I don't think that _MVP_ gives one
this right.

"When I legally buy legal merchandise, it is mie to do with what I
please." OK, let's take that to an extreme, but logical end. If I
buy a gun, legally, and then bullets, legally, then since It's mine to
do with as I please I can blow away half a school with no
repercussions.

An extreme case in point, yes, but it does show the fallacy in your
logic.

GET REAL....Killing is wrong and illegal and not a way to settle
differences. You better watch your medications.

OK. By violating the EULA, you are stealing...which is wrong and
illegal and not a way to settle your differences with Microsoft. You
better watch YOUR medications.
