OEM version on Defective MB

I am a small time system builder and have used OEM XP etc on other system
builds, but on my first OEM Vista build the MB developed varying problems
throughout its use till finally packing up. What makes it worse i kept the
system for my own personal use.

Now i am returning the MB BUT not replacing it with the same make, (Once
bitten etc) How can i install My Vista Ultimate onto the new MB, its a deal
of money to lay out and i have already lost on the Motherboard. The Install
is fine its the board that gave up the ghost.

you install it, and if needed activate by phone, if you cant you will
switched to talk to a MS representative to explain the situation...tell them
the MB was defective right from the start.

if they still refuse to help you, tell them that they are illogical, and
that you will
switch to MAC.

Tell them the motherboard was bad and had to be replaced.
It is still the same computer so there should be no issue there.
You will probably need to activate by phone.

Your words:"What makes it worse, I kept the system for my own personal use"

What did you want to do; SELL it to an unsuspecting customer.

And you call yourself a System Builder.
