oem sysprep?

Hello,

Quick question, I've got a load of new machines that have been syspreppped I
assume... Is there anyway to overwrite their sysprep.inf with mine so that I
dont have to tell every machine that I'm in the UK, use GMT, join the domain
etc etc? Or am I stuck with their sysprep.inf and the prospect of lots of
clicking...?

Cheers

If the file system is FAT, then boot up with a DOS bootable floppy and
give it a shot. If it's NTFS, you'll need a more robust tool (ntfs4dos
or a Linux bootable floppyable that supports writing to NTFS volumes,
for example). Booting with the Recovery Console might also allow you to
do this. I don't know if this will work even if you can modify the file
(I don't know if Sysprep writes out its sysprep.inf to a temp working
location after it's actually run).

hmm its NTFS, not sure if booting fomr floppy will actaully save me time!
Tried jsut sticking the floppy with sysprep.inf on, but it seems to ignore
it. THough it does have a bit of a read, it doesnt take any of my values so
must default to theres. Its defaintely a sysprep buid, have found various
indications, just wish there was an easy way to override their sysprep!

Ah well
